 SO YOUR CHILD WANTS TO DANCE?
If you have a little dancer at home, whether girl or boy, who wants to 'bust a move' after school, we have dance classes at Petersham for children aged 5-15 years. These classes are held on Friday evenings during school term and the young children's class is from 6-7pm.
Our classes include a variety of styles and provide an ideal introduction to creative movement, using a wide spectrum of music to help children develop co-ordination, rhythm and confidence on the dance floor.
Children are encouraged to enjoy dance as a form of self-expression via storytelling, props and imaginative dance routines. These dances are performed throughout the year during church services and at the annual Carols Spectacular event every December.
Congratulations to all the kids who practised so much and performed so well at our annual Carols in Petersham Park event last December. Great work!
